“light and airy…creating a ‘daka’ moment in Hanghzou”
For this high ADT major renovation in Hangzhou we wanted to really brighten up the stores vibe by delivering a fresh look and feel for the cafe given our trendy competition next door (Hey Tea). Alexis Landry led the design for the store using a collection of curved geometries anchored by a pill shaped banquet that connects to the ceiling and provides good visual balance to the bar. The mall entrance was an important moment as it faced a large atrium. The design creates a window view an opens up the store from what was there before complete with integrated seating to celebrate what’s new.
