Kunming Tong De | Reserve
As the first Reserve location in Kunming and a major remodel location we wanted to celebrate the regions rich tea and coffee growing geography. The region is also home to the Starbucks Yunnan Farmer Support center. To respect the local culture and region the concept is deeply focused on the unique landscape and terracing of the land. It was important to find a way to abstract the geography into the stores identity namely the backline wall with its myriad of greens as well as the artwork in the store.
